New Character
Sends the player to the Character Creation screen so the player may begin a new character's story.
Load Character
Connects to the Web of Lives Cloud and retrieves a recently deceased character for the player to continue the story of. This option should be disabled until the player has created and lost a character of their own. This ensures that characters will be on the cloud early in the game's lifespan.
Continue Character
If the player already has a living character, the New Character and Load Character options are hidden, and this option is shown instead. This option jumps the player back to the last saved game state of the current character.
Web of Lives
Takes player to networked nodes space that represents connections between character. It becomes available after the player completes one character's labyrinth. This is not an actual text menu option, it is linked to the game logo above the name. When a new player starts, the logo is faded and matte. After 'beating the game' the first time, the logo blinks to encourage a click or touch. It mimics this behavior going forward to notify the player when a character they played have reached a terminal point.
